1. Prepare a compatible Android device; almost any device with Android version 5.0 or newer will work. You can use an Android TV, an Android box or stick connected to your TV or screen, an Android tablet, or even an Android emulator on your computer.

2. Purchase and download the slideshow application for a discounted price, install it on your device, and start the application. Click here to learn more about how to get it.

3. After granting the necessary permissions, you will get the following screen with basic settings: Review them, adjust if needed, and press the Go to Playback button.

5. The license key must be entered to remove the “Free Trial” overlay from the screen. To enter the license key, press the Menu button on your device or remote control. You can also open the menu by swiping in from the left side of the screen or by pressing the Enter key on a connected USB keyboard. Click on “Enter license key” in the list of menu items, enter a valid license key, and click on the “Save” button.

6. Upon entering a valid license key, the “Free Trial” overlay will be removed from the screen. The application will automatically restart, and the following screen will be displayed again. Slideshow is now ready to be used; you can upload the first files using any of the methods mentioned on the screen.

7. If you want to access settings again, press the menu button on your device or remote control and select Basic Settings.” You can also open the menu by swiping from the left side of the screen or pressing the Enter key on a connected USB keyboard.

8. If your Android device is connected to the local network (through WiFi or Ethernet cable), you can access slideshow’s web interface through the browser on your computer. Just enter the URL address of the web interface displayed on the screen (above the first QR code) into the browser on your computer. If Slideshow is already displaying some other files, you can reopen the screen with the URL address through the on-screen menu (Help) or by using the keyboard shortcuts “h” or “Space”.

The default username and password for the web interface is admin. You can manage advanced configuration and settings there, review statistics, and check logs.

9. You can upload new files through the web interface – menu File Manager. Find files which you would like to play through Slideshow and drag & drop them from your computer to the File manager.
