Choose the Right Display Setup (InfoDIS + Info Q TMS)

This page helps you choose the correct screen & device setup for InfoDIS Slideshow (Android App) and Info Q TMS (WordPress Token Display via Browser) — with equal focus.

InfoDIS Slideshow → Needs Android OS (or Android Box)

InfoDIS is an Android digital signage app. It runs on: (A) Android TV / Android signage display, or (B) any normal TV / monitor (non-Android) using an Android Box/Stick.

  • Android Version: Works from Android 5, but for new devices choose Android 7+.
  • Recommended Performance: Quad-core + 2GB RAM minimum for smooth panels, RSS tickers, transitions.
  • Video: For 1080p H.264 usually OK; for 4K, confirm device supports 4K frame buffer + correct codecs.
  • Networking: Prefer LAN (RJ45) for stability; if Wi-Fi, stable chip + external antenna is a plus.
  • Storage: Media is stored on device. 16GB ok for images + short videos; heavy videos need more / microSD.
  • Ports: Enough USB ports + audio out if required (3.5mm / optical).
Info Q TMS → Runs on Any Browser Display

Info Q TMS is a WordPress token & queue system. The display runs in a web browser, so you don’t need an Android OS screen. If a device can open a browser fullscreen, it can show the token display.

  • Best Options: Any TV + Android Box, Windows mini-PC, existing computer, or smart TV browser.
  • Stability Tip: Prefer wired LAN where possible for consistent refresh & uptime.
  • Screen Size: Waiting area: 32–55″ recommended; counter displays can be smaller.
  • Use Case Fit: Ideal for hospitals and clinics, banks and financial institutions, service counters, diagnostic labs, and multi-counter halls where real-time token display ensures smooth flow and effective crowd management.
  • 24/7 Usage: Choose hardware known for long-run stability (avoid overheating / random reboot devices).

One Screen for Both?

Yes. A good Android Box can run InfoDIS App and can also open Info Q TMS display in a browser. If you want a single setup that covers signage + token display, choose a stable box with LAN + enough storage.
